Computer Science, University College of London (UCL)
A visit on Machine Learning Techniques. The first part of research has been carried out in ISIS group within the department of Electronics and Computer Science, Southampton University. The last part of research has been completed at Computer Science of University College of London
Assistant Professor June 1999- present (2006)
Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department, Niğde University
In general my main research activities have addressed to the implementation of artificial neural networks, genetic algorithm and taboo search in economical/environmental dispatch problems which is constrained optimization problem.
During the period I have also conducted researches in order to improve performance of neural classifiers, under heavily skewed multi-dimensional training data
Currently I am working on Distributed Power Systems based on Fuel Cells and Their Optimal Control. A grant of nearly $110.000 has been acquired by Govermental Source to conduct a research within a project frameworks which runs from 2006 to 2009.
PhD Student October 1994- October 2008
Electrical Engineering, Nottingham University Faculty of Engineering
My research addressed the problem of efficient parameter extraction for an articulatory speech synthesizer. The effect of statistical characteristics of training data on the performance of neural estimator is investigated and a modification scheme was proposed which resulted in a improved performance of MLP neural network estimator.
