Adnan
Görür was born in Erzin, Hatay, Turkey, on January 2, 1961. He received the B.S. Degree in electronics engineering from Erciyes
University, Kayseri, Turkey, in 1983. He received the M.Sc. Degree
from Uludag University , Bursa, Turkey, in 1987 , and the
Ph. D. degree in electronics engineering from Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey,
in 1992.From
1983 to 1987, he was a Research Assistant in the Department of
Electronics engineering at Erciyes University at Kayseri.From 1987 to
1992, he was a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics engineering He
became an assistant professor of electronics engineering |

in 1992.From
December 1992 to July 1993, he became a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in
the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of
Birmingham, U.K., where he was involved with slow wave structures. In
August 1995, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering at Nigde University, Turkey, as an Assistant Professor. In
October 1995, he became an Associate Professor. He is currently an
Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering. His current research interests include planar transmission
lines, slow wave structures, microwave filters, and electromagnetic
bandgap structures.
